Maison Olismwas founded by Marguerite who learnt Ayurveda, the ancient Indian medicine that relies on our individual constitution to tailor our lifestyle (movement, nutrition, etc.).
She offers consultations to help each person find a balance that suits them because each individual is unique. For the Tone community, she has devised three invigorating and comforting Ayurvedic recipes for the fall season.
The doshas (the forces that make up our constitution, refer to our post on Ayurveda) are highly sensitive to the climate, seasons, as well as stress and life experiences. It is worth noting that in Ayurveda, the goal is to maintain a balance in our doshas to be at the peak of our potential and prevent our shortcomings from emerging or even falling ill.
Sattvic (e.g., balanced) nutrition combined with gentle, meditative, and regular physical activity helps us maintain perspective, control our emotions, remain serene in the face of events, and avoid significant imbalances as much as possible.
